Adulting is already hard, but having anxiety while you need to stay productive with your work and life makes it even harder. Here are five small steps you can take to stay productive when you struggle with anxiety.

We all know adulting is tough. The constant responsibilities and expectations to find and keep a solid job, eat right, stay healthy, manage your money, and somehow balance a social life and your sanity seem almost impossible at times. This is all even more challenging when you struggle with anxiety. You often find your mind racing a million miles an hour trying to figure out how to manage all of your responsibilities and your life in general. Self-Care needs to be a top priority in your life. Here's why! (Plus a FREE simple guide to daily self-care!)

A little over a year ago, self-care was not on my radar. I was tackling life head-first, exploring full-time career options, enjoying a newer relationship, and experiencing post-college life. It was an interesting phase for me; I had just finished an internship and didn’t have any specific goals for my next step. She was kind enough to let me interview her to learn about her story and important self-care tips! Let’s start with an introduction! Can you tell us a little about yourself? Hi, I’m Kayti!  I am anRead More →

Allow me to reintroduce myself to those who are new and those who have stuck around through this journey. Blogging grew into one of my passions back in my early college years when I started writing about the Disney College Program and my experience working in both Walt Disney World and Disneyland on thedisneyden.com. After a few years, I realized I wanted to write about more than Disney. It took a while before I discovered exactlyRead More →

Mental health is incredibly important. I’ve definitely struggled with anxiety through most of my life. Despite the fact that most of the time I feel rather alright, there are definitely moments where I feel lost and confused. I dedicated the past few months towards improving myself mentally and finally taking control of my anxiety. My first big step was finally booking an appointment to go see a therapist. I’m so thankful to have found a wonderful, caring (and affordable) counselor that’s helped me through challenging moments this year. While I do feel like I’m making progress, I know I’m going to have to keep working onRead More →
