On top of this, you’re overwhelmed and aren’t sure what action steps to take to get unstuck. Maybe you feel anxious or depressed.
Our culture thrives and celebrates progression, but here’s a secret: everyone has felt how you are feeling right now.
Even me! I set extremely high expectations for myself and feel extremely down whenever I don’t reach them. (Not the best habit, I know. But I’m working on it!)
I’ve even had a history with feeling like I hit a wall in my part-time job, had no idea where to go after I graduated college, and in general felt depressed, discouraged, and lost. (Listen to the episode to hear more about my story.)

Before we get started with the steps on how to stop feeling stuck in life, keep this in mind: give yourself grace. The last thing you should be doing is beating yourself up over where you are now.
While doing this, use the following steps to get unstuck and finally start progressing and moving forward towards building a life you actually love:

1. Evaluate Where You Are Now
What’s happening in your life right now? Conduct a life audit to review and reflect everything happening and how you overall feel.
2. Discover What’s Missing
Review and reflect on your life audit and pinpoint anywhere you notice needs a shift in order to live a life more aligned with what you want.
3. Create Your Plan
What do you need to focus on right now? Set some goals and create a schedule to work towards them.
Remember, working towards getting out of a rut doesn’t mean you’re going to feel motivated ALL THE TIME. It’s going to feel scary, and even downright terrifying. But that’s okay. Stepping outside of your comfort zone is scary, but it’s where you experience the most growth.
Also, don’t forget about self-care. It’s important that you don’t push yourself too hard if you’re already trying to balance a million things in your life. Remember to rest and pay attention to what your mind, body, and soul need throughout the process.
