It’s officially December! I’m so sorry I’ve been rather MIA…finals season is upon us so having any sort of life outside of homework, class, and my job is awfully challenging.
ANYWAY, in the spirit of the season, I thought I’d make a list of my top five favorite Christmas movies! Enjoy!
5. A Charlie Brown Christmas
I may not have seen this movie in years, but it will always hold a special place in my heart. Nothing quite reminds me of Christmas during my childhood like Charlie Brown and his sad Christmas tree that just needed some love.
4. The Santa Clause
I simply adore this movie. I just think it’s timeless and has such a cute story. The second one wasn’t even that bad…but let’s not really talk about number three.
3. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
For the longest time, Jim Carrey was my favorite actor. To this day, I don’t think there’s a Christmas movie I’ve seen more times than the live action version of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” Many people are confused to why I prefer this version to the classic animated tale, but I’ve never really been a fan of rhyming, and this version is simply hilarious.
2. A Christmas Story
“You’ll shoot your eye out kid!”
Elf is probably one of the most quotable, fun, quirky, and adorable movies ever. I remember watching it for the first time and just falling in love. You could even watch this at any point during the year and still love it. Anyone who doesn’t like this movie simply doesn’t have a heart….but that’s just me.
What are some of your favorite Christmas/holiday movies?
